He may eventually make a good fly fisherman the way he flings that Zebco33 with one arm.

We didn't have much luck, just a few dinks, but he still had a blast.

yeah but what is a dink to us is pure excitement to kids that age. Way to get your kids involved young.

He almost caught one the other day that was bigger than anything I have ever caught. My biggest to date is a 5 lb 11 oz bass. I set the hook and handed the pole to him and he was reeling it in just like all the other 6-10 inchers that we had caught that day. He was having no problems at all with this fish. When this bass got to where I could see it I clinched the rod tight and watched about an 8+ pounder dive back into the deep water of the pond and snap 15# line like it was nothing. The water swirled and got all muddy and the next thing that I heard from him was " Daddy did you see that humpback whale?" I laughed and laughed. That's what it's all about!!!
