We usually stay at Holly park during March but it is booked. Are there any other good places you would recommend to stay on the lake. We would like to be on the Texas side between six mile and Patroon pass area. Suggestions please, Thanks Ken

Lowe's Creek has some places to stay and there is good fishing close by. Just lock your stuff up at night. Sad to say but the Texas side has been hit alot this year.

Mid Lake KOA used to have cabins but you have to launch at Harborlight. Chateau Shores or whatever it is has cabins and a free breakfast. I think I would lock up my stuff when I visit.

I would say Fin and Feather as well, some of the best fishing on the lake is about 300 yds from the launch too!

Thanks guys, I appreciate your help in finding a good place to stay. It isn't any fun to stay at the crummy ones and usually not much cheaper either. I'll check them out for availability. Ken

Alpine Marina isnt bad at all and the prices aren't either. Its located in Palo Gaucho. Only problem is not much boat parking, but thought it was nice overall.

Check out Fishermans Village Lodge. They also have RV spots. They are located on the Texas side just one mile from Pendleton Bridge. Very nice place and great accommodations. Call 409-698-7027 and ask for Steve or Nita.
