Yankee Kid and I hit the lake this morning , and had another great day! It actually was surprisingly close to last Sunday, with a little less wind.
37 iced down by noon and a casual afternoon to finish our double limit.

The bite was great early morning on jigs, some tipped with minnows. Most were spawned females, with a few males mixed in.
The largest one was 16 inches and a little over 2#.

Three more weeks till YK goes back home to be a full time guide. violin

This would be the best five of the day.

Ya gotta love it!

Let it be noted that I "Yankee Kid" cannot be replaced. Besides you must have certain credentials to fish with Millman. And dock shooting does not count. Besides the fish we have been throwing back the "dock shooters" would keep.LOL And now that I'm on a roll you must take timber fishing 101 without being tardy.(cough, cough) PEPOP.

OBTW, 2 of my biggest yesterday came from the "secret tree" right at the mouth of a certain bay....and I got them on a SMS Tom Cat too. See, I can learn. dunce. I'd like to get in at least 1 real "class" before you go YK, that is if the HeadMaster (Millman) doesn't mind flehan flehan.

Pepop im sure that would be ok. But let me make sure first. I could show you some pretty good spots. Have you ever fished the 155 bridge? that is always a good start for beginners. lol
No but we should go out sometime. it would have to be in the week.
