i tried to grab a snake today. got him by the tail for 3 seconds, but he was to strong and got away. after atta saw me trying to grab it, and it swam towards him, he high tailed it to the bank, lol......

went for two hours today with ATTA. MAN, i am out of practice. i hooked at least 15 that shook the hook or wrapped me. my buddy was laughing at me. but i have an excuse! i ran out of hooks and picked some up at the bait store on my way out there. at the end of my irritating trip that i guided myself on, i realized the hooks were bent out. very flimsy.... oh well.

i threw the hooks in the trash.

Hey guys, I'm at Lockheed Martin at Fort Worth till the 11th. Then I've got to go back to Edwards AFB in the California Mojave Desert. I've got Lake Worth and Eagle Mountain over here. Are there any good places for crappie around here that I don't need a boat for? Y'all using jigs and spinners or minnows?

First off welcome and thank you for your services.

As far as EM goes, ive only fished there twice and was from a boat. I know some of the boat ramps have pretty good cover surrounding them. I would say go out and check the park areas, theres bound to be some in there. Sorry for not much help.

As far as bait, what ive done is go out one or two times with minnows and find where theyre at and then go back with jigs. Always works well for me.

hey hey hey! you have got to admit! i hung in today a lot longer than i should have! i was decent up untill that big 7 foot snake came swimmin to me (thanks to carey). that big beast freaked me out! this guy is scaring them straight to me, sayin watchout they will fall from the tree! i was so freaked out my crappie was scaring me when he would splash the water! i stuck to carey like a shadow! guess i figured the snake would eat him fist since he is smaller! had a blast in the sot though! pretty cool place to fish. had i know a little more i prolly would have done better. thats the first time i have fished for crappie in that way!

all in all, pretty cool day! got to see 100's of carp spawnnin! pretty cool site! snakes were not cool!
