My partner Rodney landed this post spawn beauty this morning on one of the spots we fished yesterday, she weighed in at 8.9, thinking she was a double digit due to her enormous head. We had our small 5 fish limit and culled for ounces but could have used this one yesterday in Bass Champs.

All I can say is, with all the new water choke will be on fire in the next couple of years. Fishing was great during BC, but could not get the big bites.

Debra caught all the keeper fish on tourney day, seemed like she caught 25-35 fish on Sat, but we cold not land the big one to put us in the money. Was culling ounces first part of the day and finally gave up culling.

What a difference a day brings. First true time to do some serious fishing out of the new boat and I slaughtered them on Sunday. Caught the 8.9 above, a bunch of 1.5lb - 3lb fish, a 12 lb drum, and lost what had to have been a huge cat fish. Almost got the trifecta.

Fishings hot and I can not wait to go back. Catching them in 8-12 feet on plastics. So go have at it.

I agree Choke is going to come on strong from what I saw, and remember we are a team, you caught some fish as well
