try to contact mike halfman the boat man at 512-353-1854 i spoke with him last week when i thought i belw mine up. he talked me through everything i needed to do the cost and what it all coverd seemed like a very nice guy and really knew his stuff we talked for almost 30 minutes and i have never met the man that really impressed me. he was also the cheapest by 4,000 dollars to rebuld mine and i think he also has a 90day warranty not 100% on that. thank god mine was just a head gasket good luck falcon hope it all works out for you.

now if I swap powerheads do I have to change lower unit/prop? can I change the cowl? Will it have a title of say for instance 08 or the 1984 thats on there now?

And last but not least pros and cons to carb or EFI?

I have the ability to put any cowling you want on it. Look at my motor on my website, that is an 87 power head an 89 midsection or leg and a 97 200 lower unit and a 96 cowling system.
