I went out for about an hour and a half this afternoon after work to fish for sandies. The first hump I went to about 5 min.from my boathouse was covered up with fish, the slab bite is on.Kept 25 for a fish fry for my son leaving for boot camp, released a bunch more.Fish were 13 to 18 ft.caught on white slabs.Sure was getting tired of trolling.Good Luck-al

It is about time I got tired of trolling quick, which was easy to do with the fantastic days I had slabbing this spring. Now, it has turned back on and it is a ball, you made me want to go in the midst of bow season and the dawn of deer and duck seasons...I guess I should say "thanks alot" in a sarcastic tone, but NOPE, This way I can go slab and keep a few, not a bunch, just some big ones for the grill and maybe couple of hybrids, that way i can have a few more in the freezer for February when my focus on fishing really kicks in. Way to go AL! I had planned on going fishing one day this week, it looks like it will be next week now, and you tipped the scale back to CC for me....

Walking the dog. As it gets cooler, the fish will go deeper and I will go more vertical in my jigging, but right now they are shallow and want something worked like a Texas rigged worm. ------------------ Billy Seaman(guide Service)
