Chris, Lake has received runoff from the recent rains, was 48 ft low at one point it is now 20 ft low. Be careful as there are lots of logs, trees and debris in the water yet. Caught this beauty Wednesday 4-28 on finesse bait 12 ft of water. Main lake and secondary points. Try the flooded grass early in the morn before sun gets too high. She had a 10 lb head but being a post spawner only weighed in at 7 lbs. You can launch at Joe's Marina for $8.00 down at the dam. Good Luck

Using Debra's hand as kind of a reference I'd guess that it's close to 22 to 24" long.
A fish that size out of Choke might be darn near a share a lunker!
Just one more cast!

I just checked out Bandera Park Boat launch and it is good to go. I launched a 24ft pontoon. No problem

Gosh my hands especially my right holding the fish looks weird, not quite sure how that happened She measured in at 26" You can launch at Joe's Marina on the back ramp with no problem. The concrete still has a way to go before it is in the water. Debra

How is the ramp at Red Cove. I have a 24ft pontoon. With only 2 wheel drive tundra. I have no problem at Bandara park, but getting off the lake there is madness after the park fills up.
