I just want to thank Steve Bradbury, Smallblessing, and Redfin for their help and information for fishing Cedar Creek. I had a great day yesterday fishing with some older friends of the family. I need to do that more often!

We caught a mixed bag of 30 to 40 fish including Whites, Hybrids, Yellow Bass, and Channel Cats. All were taken slabing around the spillway hump area.

We were teased by several crappie when we shot some docks, but never landed any.

Don's Port is a great place to launch. We also had lunch there. Great food and great prices.

I will definetly return to Cedar Creek. Next time, I would like to get some proffesional help in order to really get in to the CC action. However, it seems that the CC guides have a hard time staying in boats!

Thanks,

Ed

I am not a guide myself, only a fellow pilgrim on the lake of life.

I have fished with Billy and Steve, (Steve is the wet one,) and highly recomend both guys. I went out with Billy last fall with a hundred mile an hour wind at 30 degrees or so and we tore em up! That includes a thirty two pound flat head catfish!

I fished with Steve last Monday and we caught well over 200 fish. It rained hard, but they were biting so we just got wet and caught fish too.

If you go back up hwy 274 to Seven Points, there is a place called Catfish Corner. Oh Baby!

GLAD YOU HAD A GOOD TIME AND CAUGHT FISH. I I HAVE BEEN AROUND THE SPILLWAY HUMP, BUT TOO MANY BOATS RIGHT NOW FOR ME, I LIKE TO HIT A LOT OF AREAS WHEN THE SLAB BITE IS ON.

I STAYED IN THE BOAT THE LAST TWO TRIPS! BUT I AM JUMPING IN TOMORROW TO COOL OFF, IT WAS HOT TODAY
