Anyone ever use those hard plastic popping corks with the rattle inside? They are made By Comal tackle. The orange and green ones. How are you supposed to keep them on the string? I threw two aver the fence And can't keep them on the line. Can't figure out how to "tie" them on. Please help.

Hated em. Had the same problem. Also, they will crack and take on water if you are using them by any hard structure such as jetties or piers and bang ot against them. Only use the Cajun Thunder corks now and they work great.

I dont like them but I do use them in the bay systems with soft plastics. Wrap your line two times around both top & bottom stems before forcing line between the slit. Like Garfish 3 said, dont use them around hard structures. Good luck. Anyone ever use those hard plastic popping corks with the rattle inside? They are made By Comal tackle. Rip some lip is right on both accounts, wrap before snapping and only use in the bays, I use them with shrimp under them and they work pretty well for drift fishing.
Keep a tight line!

i dont like those but used to use them. my buddy uses them because he can cast a mile. use a 30# leader. i guess the easiest way to explain is tie a swivel to 30#. put line through middle of cork leaving about 1.5" on the top, wrap about 4 to 5 time, and clip it in the thing. wrap the bottom about 4 times and clip. measure from bottom of cork, cut, tie hook. thats your basic rig. i use cajun thunder corks.
