You need to make sure and watch what power you get in the Falcons. There are 2 medium heavy ratings. A 5 and a 6. The 7 is a heavy for flipping.

I have been using the Falcon Cara Mike McClelland rod for frogs over the past year. I really like that rod and hope to pickup another one soon. 7'4" with enough backbone to pull them out of the pads and soft enough tip to walk-the-dog with kermit. Just my 2cents.

lots of good info here. Im leaning toward the mod tip and may not go longer than the 7'.
the fast tip and long stout rod works great for casting to mats or lilly pads and horsing them out, but when i need to skip it under docks or overhanging trees etc, i need a little more of a mod action...... now im convinced I need two frog rods!... a 7'6 heavy action for mats and lilly pads and a 7' mh mod action for skipping.........wait til i tell my wife! shes gonna be thrilled!
thanks guys

I use a 7ft. American Rodsmith heavy action rod for a Spro frog and an Allstart 6'8" team series heavy action for the ribbitt. I throw braid on both Abu Garcia reels.

Shockwave Rods makes an amazing Frog Stick. Bobby Feazel will build you a rod that suits prctically any need you have. He uses micro guide technology that cuts down on weight and helps eliminate wind wrap with braid. A great rod and very good warranty eventhough you won't need it. You can't break his rods!

Loomis MBR844C in the GL3, the lower modulas graphite has a parabolic bend that will not rip the bait out of the bass's mouth. the rod will cast most frogs a mile, and has the backbone for good hook set, even with mono.
the rod is great with swimbaits too.

I think it all depends on the cover you are fishing. If I am fishing a large open water mat where I will be making hail marry cast, I really like the Lamiglas 797. This rod is 7'9" and has an awesome parabolic bend to it. With braided line sometimes I can rip the hooks out of the fishes mouth. With the parabolic bend bend, the rod absorbs most of the impact. I have all the confidence in the world in landing any size bass in the thickest cover imaginable with that rod and 50lb-65lb braid. If I am fishing in closer and casting to visible tagets such as under trees and arounds docks, I prefer the Powell 735 frog rod. I can be much more accurate with this rod around cover. I hope this helps.
