Like Everyone else's has said, You hate to see a big fish like that die but I think the Taxidermist idea is awesome. I'm also thinking, TFF Cover Photo?

That is something that she would take on a crappie that big...it's a nice bass and a shame to lose her but would have no problem with having her mounted since she had already passed...

What does it take to nominate it as a TFF cover photo??? That would be exciting for my son to see!

The first thing you think when you are approaching a toad floating is that either someone mishandled the fish or the stress of the spawn but, then you see this crappies tail hanging out its mouth and it shocks you! I do not think the fish sticking out of her mouth killed her...its the one sticking out of her gills that got her.

The Ranch my Dad Worked for had Two Bucks Mounted that were locked together. My Dad actually found on of the Bucks alive with the other just being drug around. Got the go ahead from the Game Warden for a mercy killing. (It was on a outfitted ranch) Here Is The Link Check It Out!!! I think its cool that its getting mounted and thanks for sharing the pictures. Korey Ferguson

To me mounting a fish you didn't "catch", is like mounting a big buck that was struck by a car. Just My opinion. If he was going to tell a story about how he reeled in the bass and the crappie was dangling out of it's mouth I'd agree with you, but he obviously just wants to memorialize a once in a lifetime freak occurance he found on the water. If someone found a two-headed buck killed on the side of the road it might wind up at the taxidery shop too. They are both very interesting, curiosity pieces so lighten up Francis. I have a good friend who owns a game ranch and he found 2 deer with their antelers locked that had both fought to their deaths. He has a mount of it in his office, one of the coolest things I have ever seen, oh and he did not kill them. So, if you for some reason don't like preserving wildlife phenomenons, that is your business. No reason to be a _ _ _ _ _ _ _.. I thought I was the only one that liked crappie patteerned cranks! lol
