Basswacker, I like to use gasoline on my lures, they can smell it even farther away than sunscreen, even in 75 ft plus of water.

Yeah, there is also a sunken helecopter on the first mainlake point from the dam on the west side of the lake. Its pretty easy to find, its about 100 feet of the bank. It usually holds fish all year long and good ones! Any kind of jig or carolina rig plastic works good for me. The best color is black, yellow, or orange pumkinseed. I would like to look for that helicoptor. Can u describe it's location a little more. If u leave the damn, immediately on the left is running branch. Is that point u are referring to before or after running branch.

You can get them on top really early if you have some cloud cover. The best topwater is florescent green and bass pro has them but they never display them they are called grass chiggers. YOu will have to ask somebody that works there to get you one out of the back, they are dynamite!!

I have actually found that the "pink" grass chiggers work best. But, you do have to special order those.

They are not advertised at all, the only place you can get them is at Bass Pro. You have to ask somebody to get you some out of the back because i have never seen them on the shelves. They cant keep them out because they go to fast. It has been a secret for a while i guess, not many people know about them but they work awesome down there.
