Anyone know of a good Carp spot on the Brazos near Weatherford?

I cant seem to get anything over 3 lbs out of the Weatherford Marina.they all seem to be very small.

E Lake Dr., It is very rocky if you go to far south on the bank and you will lose a LOT of tackle so stay near the parking. I have caught quite a few, quite large carp there. I had one run and take a pole which luckily was hooked by a secondary pole and I used pole B to reel in pole A and then the fish which was about 22-25 inches long. Good luck!

This was last year, May-June. Bite was about 1-2 an hour. I was using corn and some home made boilies with something like flour, corn slurry, maple syrup, big red, vanilla, and salt. Funny thing is I had as much luck with the regular canned corn as I did with the boilies.

I caught 4 with one cast last week over in the corner of 730 and lake dr, went home and chopped them up for bait. Could have caught a whole truck load since they were in a foot of water about 2 feet off the bank. Catmasterflash is right the carp are thick down the wall. Last year I heard them and then saw them
sucking at the algae on the wall.

Just a quick report on the weatherford carp situation. I nailed about a 15-20 pound common carp on a bundle of home dug nightcrawlers about an hour ago. I was outside the crappie house on the west side. Only fished there about half an hour and hooked him fishing nearly vertical.
