I am a beginner Crappie fisherman, and have been quite a few times now but haven't used anything but minnows, but I want to try using jigs. I just bought a couple of Mr. Crappe jigs and was wonder ha to use these things as well as any other hints or tips that can b thrown my way. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm sure you'll get quite a few responses but the biggest tip that I can offer is to work SLOW. Sometimes they relly like a slow presentation but the biggest benifit for me is not getting hung up as much along with being able to "feel" the structure better. I'm still new to jigging and I'm learning every time I go out but that's been the biggest thing for me is slow.

Just find brush and hold it still. Might wanna look at Zoom jigs at wal-mart, they are 1.36 for 12. your going to lose a few if your new to jigs.

I bought a slab stacker today and my guess is you just put the minnow on and a bobber and leave it out as normal and let the minnow move the jig around. Am I right?
