I have decided to start what will hopefully be a month to month fishing blog for the whites on Joe Pool similar to the belton bunch I believe that there are enough of us that this could turn into a really good source of information, and hopefully allow those of us who live close to the lake and fish it regularly to get together and do what we all love and that is fish. So anyone with any sort of info on JP post it here as I will do the same. Thanks and I hope this catches on!

Count me in! While I still primarily chase "them green trout", I have salvaged hundreds of trips on Joe Pool by switching to whites before the day is over.

Yall have peaked my interest in Joe Pool again. I gave up on it last year due to I could only catch 9 inch fish. Gonna give it another try. I will be in a white Bay Stealth CC with a TFF sticker on it.

Well I ended up going to JP on 4/26 and the wind was not so bad when I got out there and then the front blew through around 5 or 5:30, and it got nasty real quick. So I left firemans and went to the marina (lynn creek) and caught a real nice 3.5lb. lmb on a rattle trap against the rock jetty and did not catch anything else all day long. I talked to Bob Scott the "Easy View Tackle System" guy and he told me he could not get rid of the whites along the north shore line near lynn park. also I got ran into (literally) by an ahole bass fisherman on the rock jetty thinks he owns JP. Anyways it was too windy to really fish like I wanted to but there is always tomorrow right?

Went out to the point at lynn creek park near the back boat ramp. Fished up in the shallows, 5-12ft of water and caught my limit of 10-14" fish.

Anything slow reeled will entice a bite. I used white on white road runners, white on white roostertails, white with red tail sassys and they all worked. 1/4oz

Switched to small shad and have been getting doubles on just about everyother cast.

Best thing, don't have to waste any gas. Just put in and troll over to the "NO WAKE" bouys.

I've never fished Joe Pool, but I did enjoy reading the reports from Hal back when he was posting. (What ever happened to that guy?) Good luck with the blog. Hope it takes off for you guys. I have a brother that lives close to Joe Pool so maybe I'll get on the water there someday and meet some of the JP regulars laugh.

Went out yesterday afternoon, caught a few crappie then went after the whites (firemans). Pretty slow, but at least the wind died down a little. Hey JPW I was the guy in the Carolina Skiff with my daughters on Friday afternoon. May be out again later this week.
