Went out to LL yesterday to get some co workers on those big nasty hybrids. Found bait along the windblown shore and loaded up with 6- 9 inch gizzard shad and some smaller threads. Did not take long to find the fish as there were thousands of birds working east of the 121 cut. Went up wind and downlined 6 big shad and drifted through the school.Pulled 11 large hybrids , 4 at 5 lbs. Had three on at once and the guys that were with me were busy. The birds stayed up for about an hour and then stopped. It seems that the best bite is from 6:30 - 7:30. Then it all calms down. Chunked a silver TNT 180 and slabbed up 6 nice fat sandies.Light winds out of the NWmade for a nice evening....

I was out there too. My wife and I were in the blue/white Larson fish & ski. Were you the guys in the pontoon?

Oh you guys were having a great time. I saw you were using live bait. We were catching them on white slabs.

Congrats. Few more weeks them pesky birds wont be here to tell everyone where the fish are. Then the posts will start rolling in.Lewisville is over fished there are no more hybrids or big sandbass hahahahahaha!:):):)
