I use 'the master's' rod, the Dean Rojas Signature rod from Quantum. Perfect for frogging. The man designed it.

I have worked with Castaway and had them build a custom frog rod for me, but it is not in their standard line of rods yet. Let me know if it is something you are interested in and I can contact them about getting you one. It is 7'3" with a little tip but lots of backbone works great with the spro type frogs. Rod is super light, but strong and i love it have swung 6lbrs in the boat with it. hope this helps

Power Tackle PG104-76. I'm pretty tall, and I like the extra leverage a long rod offers.

I use to throw frogs with a swim bait rod, worked great but the butt on the handle was way too long -- kept hitting me when popping the frog. Whatever you get, make sure you have enough room between the handle and your gut.

I use the following Dobyns g2 Champion models for the following situations.
734C- buzzfrog type baits 735C- Spro type baits around moderate cover 736C- Spro type in heavy cover
In addition I will use the 735C on the buzzfrogs in heavier cover.

You can't go wrong, and will not be dissapointed in CastAways 7'3" Grass Master Braid. Look at the Skeleton series SKFGHB73 if your like the split grips, or the XP3 series GHB73-X if you like the full grip either one will be less than $150. These are fantastic rods, made in the USA and will not let you down. Let me know if i can be of any help.

I used a 7 ft Lizard Dragger Lowrider for a long time, throwing ribbits. It worked well for me in 98% of the situations I used it in, but then I got it handed to me one day in thick pads. I did some checking, and ended up with the 7' 6" Cara. That thing's a beast Haven't had it on any monster fish yet, as I got it at then end of the year last year, but I did horse a solid 4 pounder out of the middle of a laydown willow tree 20 yards away, no problem.

Falcon Lowrider 7-17 for me with some 65 lb Power Pro braid. I use my Dobyns Champion 735C for pitching plastics.
