IT WAS A GREAT DAY ON C.C AND THE BOYS PUT STOMPING ON THE LIONS TO BOOT!!!

a simple type in excitement. I have met Robin and seen him on the lake, he is a good guy. i am not going to measure all my ice chests, but I have caught 12 lb hybrids before and they almost go all the way across my 90 quart

NEEDLESS TO SAY, HE CAUGHT FISH, I DID NOT AS I DID NOT GO FISHING SO GOOD FOR HIM.

Both are being mounted, but you did not weigh them, seems big for 24 inch fish, the 12 does not, but 15 to 16 lbs, well that was and could be a new lake record if you caught a 15 to 16 lb hybrid, record is 13 something pounds.

STRIPERS THOUGH, I WOULD HAVE TO AGREE THAT IT WAS A GENETIC MIX UP OR A MISTAKE IN STOCKING.

Not to put damper on the fish you caught but a 10 pound hybrid will measure around 26 or 27 inches on CC. I know only that measurement as I have one mounted and certified and a couple of friends with me have had them mounted in that range. I always carry a Bogga Grip to take out the guess work and it makes handling them allot easier.

Still, those are some nice fish, Robin. I still wish I could have been there to see that fight you described! That would have been exciting for sure.

Way to go Robin! I have been fortunate on a couple of occasions to find a spot with hybrids stacked like that. Maybe they are starting to turn on big time.
