Hey guys im about to pull the trigger on a new deep cranking rod and im having trouble deciding between these two Falcons CCB-5-173DR Deep Runner and CLC-4-17 Composite Cranker. I was wondering if anyone was using one of these two and how you like them.

I have the Composite Cranker and you can not go wrong with it. DD22 all day with no fatigue. Great rod, and even better deal since I only gave 50 bucks for it.

For DD-22s, Manns 30+, etc. I use a St. Croix Magnum Cranker LTBC710HM. For large deep running crankbaits I advise going to at least a seven, and a half foot rod.

All about fatigue. Get the rod,you like, that will contribute to less fatigue.

that aint no lie!
that aint no lie!
you dont want to be worn out after 6 hours of deep cranking, when a wolf pack moves up on a ledge and you are sticking 3-7 pounders nearly every cast...
the champion 805CBRM is an awesome rod for deep cranking, and i am now playing with the champion 765glass rod- DObyns has this lightwieght glass rod down to a science!! they are light and forgiving and STRONG!
