18 less crappie at Waurika... all taken on white and chart jigs just off the rocks. Time to take the kids camping there, the campsites are great for kids, clean restrooms, showers, and playgrounds.

The message I got from TPWD said that Plum would be stocked this past week, they usually do it on Tuesday.

Hello guys, been too long since I've been out and Im not going to get to fish today either. I have my last paper to write this semester and Ive got to get it done. If Im lucky I hope to make it out this Tuesday.

Well, I would like to take all of you on the pontoon boat out Tues. eve but I already have the damn thing taken. So.....lets use it for the Thursday eve. contest. (As always with the pontoon boat, this is assumin the waves aint whitecappin. So, if the waves are calm Thursday even at 6 pm lets Pezz , Chris, Sam, Mike and I have our own liitle tournament on that small pontoon and go to the dam. This includes two kids that you guys bring along. Same old rules, 6$ apiece, I win it all. ???Jerry

I just wanted to say hello to everyone, it has been awhile. My two labs are proud parents of 11 black pups. They were born last Thurs. I have not had time to fish lately at all and I am missing it a lot. Hope all is well with everyone and keep on keeping on. Chris

Uh oh! I can already tell Sam will have to swim all the way to shore. Ok Ok all kidding aside, let's do it. Maximum of 2 kids and Pezz' counts as one. We meet at 6 pm on Thurday and go fish the dam from the boat and anywhere else voted upon. Wind could be the exception. Sam's in. Whoelse? C'mon Pezz, Chris, Mike....do it!

Fished the second bridge today. Pretty slow, left with 6. Caught 2 gar on crappie jigs. That was sure fun. They were thick out there! Pretty neat to see them spawn.

Jerry, count me and my son in. I hope the wind eases up for a while.

Smokinquack, I was dying to fish today to test the theory of "wind from the east, fish bite the least" but decided to do some chores I have been ignoring. Are the gar within bow shooting range?

I was grabbing them with my hand!!!! They splashed me with their tails numerous times. Right side of the bridge would be the ticket. They are thick! I was wishing I had my bow with me, but was lazy and didn't want to drive back into town. Could have easily shot 30+ fish.

Hello all, First post here but wanted to share our results from this weekend. Fished Saturday morning with son and daughter. Fished minnows from the boat dock in state park. Daughter caught one good crappie; we all caught several whites. Went back out Sunday afternoon and went through two dozen catching whites from the boat docks again. Need to get the glastron out and hit the derricks. Not a fishing boat but I will do what I can to get on the water.

me and a few friends were fishing the bridge this last weekend and i hooked a BIG [censored] gar!!!! they were up close!!! my friend got one too!!!


jerry it is your boat i will go where you go, i will prob bring my (12 yr) daughter, if she is good and doesn't catch an attitude before then, we all know how pre-teen girls are, and how moody they can become at a drop of a hat!!! Oh and i got a rain suit, aint skeered of a lil rain!!
