Is anyone else tired of the wind blowing EVERY WEEKEND!
I know I have been fishing a lot of west lakes (Ivie, Hubbard Creek) lately.
But, COME ON!! I know the wind can't blow 30 mph every day during the weekends!!!!

I was going to take off Friday hopeing not to have to deal with the Wakeboarders, but wind killed that. I knew walking down my driveway at 4:40 Friday morning and I could hear the wind whistle past my ears it was to windy for me. I went back inside plugged my laptop in and worked from home.
Spring time wind is what it is..............but I don't have to like it.

We fished our bass club two day tournament on Rayburn this weekend. The wind was brutal both days, especially at midday Saturday. I eased my way across the lake from Harvey to Mud Creek about that time and had two or three waves break over the side of the boat.
But...I checked the conditions at Zavalla at weather.com this morning at 9:30:
Sunny. 65 degrees. Wind...CALM.
It doesn't get any more typical than that.

I'm with ya on the wind - I CAN fish in it but jeez. I was at Texoma Saturday and it was fairly brutal although fishing was great. At one point running south I think every third wave hit me in the face - they were too irregular to get on top and fly.
The thoughts of a 26-28' bay boat with a flipping deck installed crossed my mind a time or two.
