Well, I tried Packery channel, the port A south Jetty, and the port A Ferries.....NOTHING. I had live shrimp, any type of shrimp and shad lurte you could think off. tried cut perch and live perch. No one was catching them. Disappointed in my first adventure to the coast.

Sorry to hear that, Boss. Did you try finger mullet?

Now, Donald...please pick John Bolton for your running mate.

Was at Port A over the weekend. We caught some black drum, small redfish, Hardheads. No keepers but enjoyed the weather.

Dont give up. Things are really going to pick up down there all the way through May. I love fishing down there the last half of May and all of June. Once you get into them you will be hooked. I really like freshwater fishing but I loooove fishing saltwater.

Does anyone know what bites in the shallows around Port A the end of July?
