Well they sucked at the fork of the lake. I fished Saturday while we made a divit for the little boat, cleaned up from the storm it was not good at all fishing. The shad were on shore Saturday morning so the crappie will be great this week. After a night in the ER with arc eye I wasnt able to fish or drink beer Sunday.

Saturday was a bust for crappie on the Chambers end. Creeks were up and running so we went for blues, caught 31 in a couple of hours, what a blast. Used cut shad.

I'm having problems too. I live here on R/C and this time every year I catch crappie under my pier by the bunches, but not this year. I don't know what to think... I've only manage 8 crappie this year and thats only been in the last week and those showed up in the morning between 8 and 8:30 am then nothing for the rest of the day. All males and no real size to them.
Maybe the wife is right... the lake filled up and most of the crappie drowned.
