 How or Have you catch live shad at Lake Ray Roberts (Isle du Bois) area?

I used to catch shad for the bait at lake lavon, but I didnt have any luck with catching shad with the casting net at Lake ray roberts (isle du bois area)... so, have you ever catch live shad at lake ray roberts?
if so... how and where did you catch them?

When I put a light down in the water nightime at Ray Roberts the shad start swarming within about 20 minutes. I guarantee you can catch them at night if you have a submersible light to attract a big school of them. I'm usually around structure like standing timber or bridge columns when I get a megaswarm of shad.

boat ramp... dang it... try other places but never tried there... lol... i guess i will try there next time... I tried light down in the water night time, but recently there are no shad around the fishing pier... but people caught some minnows... thank you guys~
