I know I haven't posted a report in a while, but it has been good. Also been too busy. Only had a half day today, so got a nap in this afternoon and feel like a new man The lake is in pretty good shape. If the water would start to clear up it would be even better. Water temps are up there. Mid to upper 60's in the mornings and climbing into the low 70's in the afternoons. Saw the first signs today of a shad spawn. So the shallow moving bait bite should get a lot better over the next few days. Maybe even a topwater bite. I know it is going to take a big bag to win Saturday. Had two clients in the boat yesterday and John put on a show all by himself. His best 5 would have gone over 31 lbs. We have had a mid 20's bag everyday. Up until today we had put a 7 lbr or better in the boat the last 3 days. We have a wave of fish finishing up their spawn. We still have a big wave to go though. We have been catching them a bunch of different ways. So they aren't completely locked onto one pattern. They are bunched up though. You could get well in a hurry come Saturday. We have enjoyed the nice weather the last week or so. Here are some pics of some of the fish over the last week. Does this guy look like an Orangutan??? These last 3 are John's biggest from yesterday. Check out the black fin. I don't have much left open in April. Just the afternoon's of April 26th and 27th for a half day. Those mornings are already booked. I do still have about 13 days left open in May. Let me know if you want to get on the books. Thanks Dannie

Nice fish! I agree, 30 lbs + to win Saturday.

Hey Dannie, looks like I missed the 30 pound sack by 1 day. Of course, I'll take the 25 we had any time, not to mention what we would have had if we would have gotten everything that bit into the boat. So, your clients had 55 pounds over 2 days. That's pretty strong. See ya in about 2 weeks.
