Headed out to Fork yesterday afternoon to do a little fishing and spend the night. Got tired of fighting the bed fishing crowd so I backed off to 8-10ft of water and started running isolated timber on points with a weightless T-rig LFT Hyper Stick. I managed this one for my big fish of the day. It was pushing 9lbs and went just a bit over 23". She was almost full growed.... laugh
The real fun began last night when the wife drove down to spend the night. We went to bed about 11:oo and at about 2:30AM we got woke up by hail slamming the trailer. Suddenly it started rocking back and forth(its only 26'). We turned on the radio to a local station and they were advising our area to take cover immediately. We opened the door of the trailer to make it to the car and I almost got pulled out of the trailer. Finally we both made it there soaking wet and rode it out in the car for next 20 minutes.
Luckily all our stuff was not damaged but a few snapped trees less than 75yds away and a tree down on a boat just down the trail. Wild night to say the least.

Congrats on the fish. Glad yawl were okay. There were F1 Tornados in the area that night. They hit the Cedar Creek area pretty hard.

Nice fish. Those RV can rock and roll! Glad everything made it out okay.

No matter how good or bad you have it, wake up each day thankful for your life. Someone somewhere else is desperately fighting for theirs.

Dude... Nice fish.. !!!! That's a good'un.

That was a storm, hail, high wind and rain blowing sideways.
My back yard looked like a war zone...

It was on big time in our neck of the lake too. Topwaters Friday evening before the storm was a blast..

Nice fish and looks like calm before the storm.

The day after catching a lot of fish is still a good day.
