No matter how long you been fishing..........you're gonna eventually have a really bad day. Yesterday was mine. (I hope it's the last).
Went to Lewisville with Doug Broadway in the morning. Beautiful day to be on the water. Fishing sucked. Fished two bridges, nine brushpiles, numerous trees, water from 1' to 20'. I caught one small Sandbass while Doug caught a couple of Crappie and some bass.
Went back in the afternoon with Rick.(Not sure why) We finally found some fish and he proceeded to beat my butt to death. (15-4 was the final score) Now I get beat from time to time but this was absurd. Went home and took two baths and changed my underwear. Hopefully today will be different. Good thing my memory is going, by tomorrow maybe I will have forgotten "Black Wednesday".

Wow! Don't go to the Casino ever on 4-21 Ernest. Must have been your worst day in a long time. Oh well at least we know it won't last.

Went home and took two baths and changed my underwear. Too much info there buddy.  Here's an old bikers trick. You can just turn those babys inside out for an extra day.

Theres a wonderful fisherman named Ernest something, has a very good crappie fishing video out, you nay want to check it out.
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

Well look at it this way.
My last few outings I have done very well by my standards.
I did it by doing what you and some other sages have taught me.
I think about things you've said while I'm fishing.
And catch myself wondering what you would do.
If that's not going fishing with me (and hundreds of others) I don't know what is. At least in spirit.
I just want to say thanks.

me and my dad had a fish off last night he kicked my but 43-31 total and 5-2 in keepers
