 Crawdads O' Plenty!

These pictures were taken on Hwy 12 between Starks and Deweyville on the sides of the road. The water was high and after thedam gates at Toledo were closed the water started going down and this is what it looks like. People are on the sides of the highway using a dip net loading up everything they can get their hands on. (Texas/Louisiana border)

Looks like brown/orange Madman crawtubes would be a good color on Toledo Bend right now

Every fish near there has got to be stuffed full of those things.
That is pretty crazy. I wish it were closer...I would be eating a few myself.

It was unreal the amount of white bass caught on crawdads this Spring at Logansport where the Sabine flows into Toledo Bend.

We cooked steaks & Hamburgers on the pontoon boat. We caught fish until they couldn't take it anymore. Best fishing trip of my life bar none.Pontoon Boats = Family Fun.

Your right, it don't get much better! The only mistake I made was getting my feet sun burned, not a good program.

Dang Dorcheat, You must know what Bistinou (spelling) is doing right now. I hear Skinner's slew and Snake island are producing even with the falling lake level.
