I've passed by the creeks a couple times and see people down on 175 fishing. Are the crappies that shallow right now?

I've seen some nice slabs come outta CC just never fished it for crappie, looks like I may have to give it a go Saturday. I'll be going in blind.

Cedar Creek has been producing alots of keeper, but i have to say Lavon for the bigger slab. I have caught 3- 16 incher and over 20 of the 15 incher in the last 3 weeks. I have also witnessed a 2.89lb release that would have been the lake record, i donot know if John aware of that when he released her.????
