Wow! Nice catch. You have destroyed Joe Pool this week

and Lake Arlington last week.

You ought to try Lewisville one week and tell me what I am doing wrong. bang You make it look too easy.

Yes, 1.5 foot of water. That's an average depth of the crappie I was cathing in 1 foot to 2 foot of water. The water was pretty murky at the time so I was able to approach without spooking them. any more questions?

Trust me, I've spent a lot of time figuring Joe Pool out. I struck out a few times back in the day but now it's pretty much a gauranteed good catch as long as the south winds keep blowing. Just wished Pool had a few more lunker crappie. Can't complain though, I rather catch a 50-60 10-11' inchers and 50 throwbacks then a few 1.5 lbers, which is ususally the case. I do catch an occassional 1.5-2.0 pounder which is always a nice surprise. I've tried some other lakes and just can't find the same consistency day after day with multiple crappie.

Just talked to my buddy and he said there are no crappie up shallow right now in the creeks this morning. All he caught were 2 nice bass and a sandy. He was catching a few crappie in 8-10 foot of water. They pretty much shut down it sounds, at least the spots that I fish. Maybe by this weekend they will be back on. I don't see why they won't. Good Luck.

Nice haul! I'll be out there on Saturday afternoon. I sure hope the wind doesn't blow.

The front pushed them back to 10 -16 foot per my buddy and the bite was slow today this morning. No crappie up shallow at all right now. give it a few days, probably this weekend

The way to communicate with the fish is to drop them a line.
To argue on a fishing boat is to have de bait.

Were you mainly fishing creeks or main lake?

You might want to consider becoming a quide on the surrounding lakes.
