Okay BC and I hit Caddo Creek early in the morning in my boat and man were they running. I have to say, that we have never seen big sandies like what we saw Saturday morning. Those big female had to be 2.5 to 3lb's a piece. They were in set's of two going up the creek along the banks on both sides. The sad thing is, they wouldn't hit nothening I mean nothening. We tryed roostertails, grubs, and I mean they just didn't want to hit. We'll figure this creek out sooner or later. It seems to me that you have to have the bait right on the edge of the creek and then reel back to the deep. Oh well, I'll get back there, thats for sure. We ended up leaving to go over to Ray Hubbard. We put in at Lake Pointe Marine off on Rowlett Rd. But takes some good advise, Unless your a rich man and can afford to pay $6.50 to launch a boat, then I would go over top Chaha and launch there. It took us about 20 min.'s to get back up in there. We ended up all the way to the 190 Bridge. We caught around 30 sandies up in there, but we were only there for 3 hours or so. Not only did we caught the 30 fish, but we loaded down on some new lures, It was like picking Cherry's from a tree. We problaby found around $20 to $25 dollor or more. If you want to know whats being thrown down there this time of year, I'll see if I can get the pic's on here. John V. Can ya help me, I also will show you what we were using the whole time we were down there, size & color. There were alot of stringer that for sure, but no big female yet. Well thats how are Saturday end, man was it a nice day. EH

Yep, Rowlett Creek is hot right now. No question. Got there at 6:45 Sunday morning, and I was the 32nd car parked down there. Had my limit in 2 hours. ------------------ Gig 'Em, Aggie class of '94.

NTAC,
You said you went up to the 190 bridge. Are you talking about the "NorthEast Parkway" that connects Hwy 190 to Rowlett Road? If so, that bridge is where Centerville road dead ends at NorthEast Parkway.
That would be about 3 miles upstream from the lake.
Coming from the lake, the 1st bridge is Miller Road, the 2nd is a railroad bridge, the 3rd is Hwy 66 and the 4th bridge is NorthEast Parkway, after that it is about another mile and a half to the rapids at Pleasant Valley bridge (I don't know how navigable it is above NorthEast Parkway. I have only been up to hwy 66 bridge.

Ron when we made it to the creek the first bridge would be Miller Rd. Then we hit the Railroad and after that we went under Hwy 66. Then next bridge would be Hwy 190. Now Hwy 190 or Northeast parkway are problaby the same Rd that you are talking about.

Bill you can pretty much fish just about any where you want. But if you really want to cover alot of water then get you a two man bass boat.
