$5 to get into the park per person, $3 to fish the barge.

I don't think color mattered too much just holding the darn thing still. I caught mine on my old stand by blue and white.

The best color out there for me lately are The True Blue and The Irresistaber...
Not asking for anyone to have order anything from my website on this specific post, however, one is welcome to visit my website to see the color combo I am talking about... Those 2 have been really hot at JP lately...Here is the LINK
Crapie are merging shallow right now at JP.... Make sure you raise the jig slowly if you don't get any hit after a minute of holding still....
Good Luck!

I like to reel mine in slooowly on the bottom (pink head, black body and green tail- 1/16 oz or 1/32 oz)...works well so far. I must try the State Park soon...only 5 minutes from my house.

+1 CV! I caught some good fish using the Irresistaber and the line pull technique. They should be in pretty good this weekend. Last Saturday none of the males really had tore up tails.... and only 1 female out of like 25. I'll be out there on Saturday.

I think this is what line pulls means: Like fly-fishing. Pull line with one hand and swing your pole with the other hand. This way- you will always have the same depth of fishing line in the water.
