Ok, after seeing the thread, Wana catch lunker crappie?? Here's how!, I was just wondering how many of us crappie fisherman have actually caught a 3 pound crappie. I know that the biggest that I have caught was at about 2.2 off of Lake Wright Patman. So just reply what the biggest crappie that you guys/gals have caught, with weight, lake, and pic if you have one of it. Just wondering how many have accomplished the goal that I am dreaming of. thanks

3 of them one night years ago. 3.5# each. No pics. The camera was still new back then and all of them were being used to film the Civil War.

5.5 looked great but then i woke up  in real life its 2.5 on ray roberts when i was 16

My biggest was 21 inches long...never had him weighed (and that's a long story). Anthony helped me post a pic of it last year...got me some digital scales now!!

My biggest w/proof pic is in my signature. I carry no scales or measuring devices. Had a hanger nearby tho! Here is my bf for Texoma Friday night, with blades for proof. Just wished I'd entered the tournament, but then I might fail the polygraph on Sat.  and here are the other 4 lb'ers.   and here's my biggest ever:

nope....me neither! closest ever was 2 lbs and 13 ounces at navarro mills. there is a pic of her on the wall at the marina and used to be on the web site!

Mine was 2# 7oz. @ Wright Patman but it was called Lake Texarkana at the time(1963). I know that was before they invented cameras but they did have scales. Length was 17".

Mines was, 5lbs - 3lbs + 4ounces = 2.4lbs.. LOL Caught it off a slip on Ray Hubbard last spring.

The largest I ever seen was about 3lbs. My dad caught it on a trotline out at Whiterock lake in the early 70's.

None were 3 pounds. EM last oct.  Du Bois RR last oct.  Grapevine last not sure maybe june it was hot out.
