Has anyone been to proctor lately? Was wondering if the crappie had moved shallow yet?

I agree. I've heard of a few people catching a few crappie and some whites but not much to speak of. Hope to go this Friday. I
will let you'll know how we do.

Went last Friday. Pretty slow. Wondering if anyone else went this past weekend? Did they get alot of rain around Proctor? How do you'll think the lake will be this next weekend?

We went Friday and Sat. in the rain. We really didn't try to catch any crappie but we did catch some whites and hybrids around the island. Found the whites and hybrids were shallow. Caught a few cats that were about pan size. Caught alot of 10 to 12 inch hybrids, only six that were keeps.

Hey Pockets, was wondering what you cought those fish on? Were you trolling or soaking live bait? Were going there the end of this week and would like to get into some hybrids if possible. Never fished for them on Proctor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are there any largemouth in that lake or do people just not fish for them? We have a tourny there in May and was just wondering?

they are in there but not in big #s. Wont get many bites but usually the ones you get are quality. Fluctuating lake levels over the last few years I think have really affected the spawn there. Lake is overrun with white bass.
