me and two buddies fished walnut creek that runs into joe pool on sunday. we were way back in the creek we got to it from some neighborhoods over off ragland in mansfield. the banks were pretty much eroded away so it was a tough trek. hip waders helped but we still had to climb threw thorns and trees and fall down sandy embankments but it was all worth it.

ended the day fishing a total of 3 hrs and the three of us kept 27 nice sandies and threw back at least 50. and boy they sure tasted good golden fried all fish on roadrunners and plain jig heads with plastic jigs in all colors worked. there is nothin more fun than runnin around with a light weight catchin those hard fighting fish in 2-6 ft of water so get out there if u can cuz its about over. i hope to see if htey are still there again next weekend.
