Yep, I even have one of those days. Fished with repeats Tony and Nick Horton, got on water at 8:30 and fished till noon, and was it ever tough today. Winds from north around 20, lake a froth. Fish never stacked up anywhere, caught about 60, but only kept 28 whites in 11-13 inch size and lots of small Hybrids. All fish caught today on RJR baits and Hopkins Spoons. And to make matters worse, new boat would not go into reverse, so back to Plano Marine we go tomorrow.

That sounds like my fishing morning. I decided it wasn't worth it around 10:00 AM and headed for the house.

Forecast for tomorrow is more of the same with winds gusting to 30 MPH.

Sorry about your reverse problem, just one of the kinks of a new boat.

I'm sure ton's of people would love to have that kink....at least it would come with THAT BOAT!!

GREAT TO HEAR THE RJR SLABS ARE WORKING. SORRY TO ABOUT THE BOAT. GOING TO SEND SOME MORE SLABS TO OTHER FISHERMAN SO THEY CAN GIVE THEM A TRY. HOPEFULLY WE CAN START SELLING A FEW ACROSS THE STATE.

Friday afternoon was still windy, but not as bad as evening approached. Caught lots of 10-11 inch sandies in Clear Creek and Caney Creek mixed with lots of yellow bass and undersized hybrids. Later caught some larger sandies and a few 18-20 inch hybrids. All fish caught on 1/2 and 1 ounce jigging spoons, mostly silver and chartreuse.

Saturday was a rough one, same results as Friday except no keeper hybrids. Fished same areas plus around the A-frame, gave up around 12:30, ride in was like bullriding. For the two days the two of us caught close to 300 fish total.

Well what did you find out??
