I'm looking to rent or barter or trade for a few days of a SOT rental. Perhaps 3 - 5 times this year....
Something long and fish trimmed. I have all the accessories, and plenty of boat experience. I know all about H O T kayak rentals, but they are not close, and they keep business hours.
PM me if you want to get a little profit out of your investment, sitting 90 % of the time, in your garage.
I'm in SW Richardson 75080, locals only please.

Unless you are wearing a grass skirt and sleeping in a ditch and eating only road kill, you too are part of 'the problem'.

Personally, I have not yet rented from them; however, I spoke with someone there recently that indicated they have a variety of models available for rent. I'm planning to go by there soon (I hope) and check out what is available.

if your going to spend $100 on renting you might as well put that towards buying a kayak. I bought and sold about 5-6 kayaks before I bought my redfish 12 brand new. I made about $50 on each one too. You have to search craigslist and tkf classifieds about 4-5 times a day and you will find something. And when you do you have to act quickly. Good deals on kayaks go super fast.

I have a well used Tarpon angler 160 w/rudder. It is not pretty but floats and has a nice seat, anchor , drift anchor and rod holders. It is about 9 years old. I work almost every Sat. and some Sundays. If you want to use it on some weekends or a few weekdays I am sure we can work something out. You would need to be able to transport a 16' kayak and would need to take responsibility for any damage. If we can work something out that is not too much of a hassle for me and I don't have to worry about getting it back I would probably rent it out. I am in Lewisville.

I saw brand new kayaks as you walk in the door of West Marine in Lewisville off 35 for around $200 brand new. For a little more than what you want to spend to rent you could buy your own brand new kayak.
