Fished Friday and saturday, finding plenty of fish in all the usual places. In fact, most of my catches were hybrids all over 3 and half pounds. The largest was a 6 lb fighter around crappie island Friday morning.
I put them all back so other fishermen could enjoy the thrill.
Will be back again this Friday and Saturday.

Fished friday night on top of a midlake hump with floating lights,caught lots of sandies and blue cats until 1am,got tired and went home.
Went out Saturday afernoon and trolled hell/pet around midlake points in 14 to 22ft.We were catching fish every pass,Didn't keep count as my freezer is full and am not keeping any now.No hybrids,but I fish a bit too far north for them this time of year.Good Luck-al

When I refer to mid-lake humps, I am referring to an area south of spillway humps and north of crappie island flats.
Is that where you were trolling Saturday afternoon? I can't think of an area in that general location where the water is only 14 ft deep.

I will be fishing on weekend of 7th Out of town for a week....Karry, most refer to mid lake humps closer to spillway / Enchanted area, even north of there Close enough....Al, I'll shoot you an email next time I am out......getting new boat del in abt a week.....will have GPS  to share w all you lucky dogs out there

Karry,I live in Gun Barrel and don't go far from the house for sandies-5 to 10 min from our boathouse.The spillway is about 3 or 4 miles south of me.
George,I saw a pic of your new boat,looks great,congradulations.

thanks guys.....looks like fishies are finally stacking up inside 20ft......bit later than last yr.......hope we get some rain this week
