welcome aboard dimes

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

Ha, we have people asking all the time if they can fish there. It's a pretty sizable lake, about 20 odd acres. Deepest point is about 15 feet, not deep by any means, but we sure catch a lot of fish out of the waist deep water.

Nice Bass, looks like you take good care of your lake. Is it managed or do you just manage it yourself?

We just let it be. With the drought last summer it was at the lowest point it has been since it was built. With the water level being so low I guess the fish to water ratio was thrown all out of wack and left the bigger chunkier fish there. And also the low water killed off all the hydrilla for the time being, but also took out our lilies. It's just north of New Braunfels off of I35. I've grown up on this lake.

Some nice Bass

Men are like fish...If we'd learn to keep our mouth shut, we'd stay out of trouble.
