I have been to Benbrook for four weekends in a row and cannot buy a bite from there. Have they moved up in the shallows? Im not looking for any ones honey hole or asking for specific spots. Just some sort of pattern or general area so i can try and find them (North, South end of lake, creeks, etc..)
I wouldnt be asking if i havent been doing some searching already without any luck.

thanks for your help.

Last three weeks they have been biting very good shallow (1 ft) on Granbury. Can't get a bite shallow on Lewisville but have heard and witness them being caught in 15 foot. Benbrook, I don't know but if it were me I would try shallow in the back of creeks.

I have caught close to 20 from the bank in the rocky creek park area in the past two times out. (sunday, tuesday) I will be going back out today to get another 10 or more i hope. we shall see how they bite with this weather above us.

That,s it you have been trying to buy a bite not happing bites are free... just bulling you. This has been a crazy year we had a real winter this time. Last year this time it was some really good fishing good numbers and quality too, I may get out there Sunday or Saturday eve late if you see a little grey Sea Ark come over and say hello you may be glad you did.

Been really slow for me too. Last few I caught have been on jigs below bobbers just off the bank in coves. I've been fishing north end east and west.

Find this guy... he'll show you the ropes.

I don't live for the thump, but I sure do like it.

We cleaned 18 on Friday. All were over 11 inches. Saturday we caught close to 30, but most were shorties with only 4 over 11 inches.

Smaller fish were caught in about 7 ft. of water. The larger fish are deeper in 15-20 ft.

Off of points? Or in creek mouths?

we have been catching them in 15 to 20 feet....find brush piles and trees in that depth and check your graph...no fish , find more brush and trees in that range and you will find them...its a hard lake...went thursday and last night with my 8 yr old and caught around 50....only 20-25 keepers...biggest around 2.5lbs...they havent moved shallow yet....you'll find them...good luck!!!
