The words for today are situational awareness. Keep you eyes open on the lake and look toward the shore line.
I caught hybrids today in water that varied from 3' or less to 18'. The first 9 legal hybrids came from shallow water on a wind blown point, the birds gave it away but you could see splashes near the retaining wall long after the birds left.
I also found fish in shallow water on the upwind side of the lake in several areas, and benefited greatly from a couple of calls from Jim Legrand.
Ended up with 20 legal hybrids, 4 short fish and a bunch of sand bass.
Everything was caught on either a 4" clear glitter sassy shad, a 4" Cocomoe in chartreuse glitter, electric yardbird, avacado and glow in the dark with the tail dipped in chartreuse Spike-It. I caught 4 legal fish on a 4" Smack Bait too.
Its all from Moe's and its all good.

It ain't easy making it look easy.

George some of the Hubbard reports are sounding pretty good. I think I am going to fish here local at Hubbard, it may be a mistake and if you post a great report I will be kicking myself. Good luck tomorrow.
