Is it better to power wash it first? My fence has never been stained is why I ask...

![rolfmao rolfmao](/forums/images/graemlins/default/roflmao.gif) I should have known an OT Guru would tell me to pee on it first. Thanks, I'll get to drinking and peeing then power washing.

![thumb thumb](/forums/images/graemlins/default/cup.gif) Just remember to let it dry a couple of days before you stain it...

power wash it or use oxylic acid from a paint store to bring back the color. ready seal is one of the most poplar stains out now. you can spray or roll it and it wont leave lap marks

Ditto on the Ready-Seal. You can pick it up over at Lewisville.

If you power spray it don't get carried away with the pressure. I use a 1/3 bleach 2/3 water mixture and it will bring it back new. Then rinse with the hose (no pressure just wash off the fence). Let dry a couple days and then use sprayer with Baker's Grey Away. www.texaswoodproducts.comPretty darn good stuff.

Bleach water won't do that and you don't have to scrub anything.

Oh yea, I know what you mean. My power washer has a few nozzles that would put a hole in the fence or your finger. I plan on going the easy route after power washing by staining it with a sprayer.
