I am the same way. Funny how curiosity always gets the best of us... smile

Cool pic btw. Hopefully I will never get the opportunity to take a pic like that myself. wink

That's a right purdy rattler...and I hate snakes, too! Always amazes me how that species can almost float its body out of the water, more so than any other snake.

Good judgment comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

I did not know a rattler could swim that well.

Thanks for the warning!

If I saw a snake like that
I'd worry I'd fall in,
thinking the whole time.....

"Don't fall in"

"Don't fall in"

"Don't fall in"

.

Unless you are wearing a grass skirt and sleeping in a ditch and eating only road kill, you too are part of 'the problem'.

I'm with you man. Oh, and definitely wouldn't have tried the trolling motor thing. Thing might wrap around and climb aboard.

Nice photo. Thank you. I would definitely have given him some respect. Hell, he can have my wallet too, if he wants it. Though he might make a nice wallet, come to think of it... Or maybe a matching belt and pair of boots...
