I hate seeing pictures of snakes but still always click on the threads lol. I am the same way. Funny how curiosity always gets the best of us...  Cool pic btw. Hopefully I will never get the opportunity to take a pic like that myself.

That's a right purdy rattler...and I hate snakes, too! Always amazes me how that species can almost float its body out of the water, more so than any other snake.

Does anyone know what to use to remove brown stains from boat carpet? Just thought it might be some good info to have in case I get that close to one of them... Hate em..

Nice photo. Thank you. I would definitely have given him some respect. Hell, he can have my wallet too, if he wants it. Though he might make a nice wallet, come to think of it... Or maybe a matching belt and pair of boots... Saw this fellow crossing Lake Austin yesterday. He was moving real slow, the water temp was about 56. He was about 5' long had had about 7 rattles. Still I gave him the respect he demands. JR
