I just received this letter and it really made an impression on me and wanted to share. Lou is simply the BEST!

Dean Smith,

This is Martin Bozeman the Father of Dustin Bozeman. My son fishes three different tournament trails at age 15. We have enjoyed our Legend boat since December of 2008. I would like to express my total satisfaction with your company and the customer service we have received over the past year. We have never had any major issues only small nagging questions being new first time boat owners. We have always been treated with fast friendly customer service and feel that Legend and their staff has gone the extra mile. One person in particular even gave me his personal cell phone number several months ago last year. I was amazed and thought I would never use it not wanting to abuse any generosity. This person's name is Lou and works in your service department. He has always walked me though understanding different things. This past weekend my son was fishing in an adult tournament. He had a five fish limit and had 20 minutes to get to weigh in. I was not in the boat with him because I am not allowed to be. He called me from his cell phone and explained he had no power and could not start the engine. I did not know what to do. I called Lou on his cell phone not really expecting an answer. Not only did I get an answer but found out Dustin had tripped a breaker and was able to have Lou walk us through how to reset the breaker by phone. Lou went above and beyond the call of duty and Dustin made it to weigh in on time. Did I forget to mention this was all on a Sunday at about 1:30 pm. Dustin ended up finishing in fourth place and also received his points which I feel would have never happen with out Lou. This was not only impressive for me and Dustin but rest assured ever angler in that tournament at weigh in new what happened as well. From what I hear from talking with other boat owners at the tournament they feared they would have still been on the lake and missed weigh in. I guess what I am trying to say is that I am a very proud Legend Boat owner and don't ever for see owning any other boat but a Legend. Keep up the good work and give Lou a pat on the back for me!!

Thank you for everything!

The guys at Legend, have the best customer service department, that I have ever encountered.

Deana, Dean, Billy and all of them are top notch, it never amazes me what these guys will do to make a Legend owner happy.

Great Story, and Congratulations to your son.

+1 Darryl from Legend also who handles the warranty claims is top notch. If anything breaks on the boat they ship the piece to you within the next day or so. You will not find better service.

I have to admit I always thought my next boat would be another 'cat, but I'm now thinking I'll probably have to take a long and hard look at Legend before I pull the trigger...

You've had the same experience I've had with them. Lou also gave me his cell and I called him on a Saturday morning to help with something I messed up. I felt bad bothering him but, he was glad to help. I didn't know what else to do and needed to get my boat approved for the State tourny. It was my fault. I removed the cranking battery while installing structure scan and I dropped a terminal off the battery and didn't see it when I reconnected the others. Lou tracked the electrical system with me until we found my stupid mistake. In a time when you can't hardly get anyone in service on the phone during normal hours it's refreshing to have customer service like they do at Legend.

I have had mine for a month now had some really good experiences as well. They are really in tune with folks. When you call you can rattle off your name or your boat# and they are on top of it and you get trated very well. First class all the way.

Lou just walked me through the wiring harness to install a radio in a 211.

I have had nothing but stellar response from everyone at Legend, including the owner. How may companies will give out the owners phone number to a caller? Not many.

This is a boat I won in a tournament. They could have very easily treat me like some tool, but they dont.

Besides the customer service, the 211 really hauls in the rough stuff.

Tim
