I DID NOT KILL IT!!! It was already dead, but I saw a super skinny about 2 foot long green snkae witha white belly on the bank of rowlett creek today. I am curious at to what it is, I could look at charts but I want the opinion of those out there interacting with them. So... What kind do you think it was? And do they bite and stuff? He had a small mouth. I imagine they are some mighty good hiders. He didnt have any signs of something killing it. he wasn't playing dead because I picked him up with the end of my rod and gave him a few flips in the air. I understand it is their habitat, and I am not complaining ust a curious little fellow but not curious enough to get real close to a live one.

Probably a Rough Green Snake (Opheodrys aestivus). He would eat bugs and worms. Probably wouldn't bite you unless you were really pestering it.

I was too full at that moment. I usually eat reptiles live.

I wouldnt get close enough if I knew one was there, but I dont plan on making any trips into their parts, so for now I'll just look for little green ones to bite me in the nose hnaging on a tree (in which case I'd kill the bas....) and the actual water snakes like mocassins and cotton mouths which are meaner than all get out
