Me and some buddies went out this weekend for some crappie. At first we followed everyone's advice on here and went shallow and shot docks and such. total score after that - 0. We then went out to a 16 ft brush-pile we go to throughout the year that averagely produces great and just as many times before, they tore up our white crappie jigs. So whatever works man, whatever works. Also, i think some dudes may tell us some lies so only they'll catch em ;-)

Thanks for the tip. It's been about 7 years since I've been on Cedar Creek so it's like starting over on that lake. I'll start looking for those brush piles. I think most people on this site generally tell the truth, but I've learned to take every thing with a grain of salt. What was true today, may not be true tomorrow.
