Alright guys...Its time for me to finally ask. How do you find em and catch in the shallow water? Just startin to get into chasin crappie and ive been tyin off to docks and tryin to find em that way and havent been getting much thats keeper sized. Do you have to know where a brush pile is? Do you troll through coves like your chasin bass or just anchor down?

We caught those fish out of creek in ellis county coming from a lake, their is really no secrets, if fishing a creek the stuff we look for is tree roots right at the edge of the bank throw your minnow/jig with a bobber (the fish above were about a foot and half deep from bobber to jig) right at the edge twitch it a couple of times, trust me if their is a fish in their your bobber will disapear if nothing bites move to the next spot. Also look for eddies in the creek on the other side of most edies their will be no current hit every one of them again same thing at the edge of the bank a foot to two foot deep, if it has current we usually don't mess with it. As far as the window you have to catch them we have caught them spawning as late as may 8th and as early march 27th, but they will be in their for around 2 to 3 weeks. If I'm fishing a cove in the main lake (which their is a ton of them were bank fishermen can get access) try to fing a cove with timber/lilly pads/tractor tires/wees ect, same thing fish it jig/bobber 1' to 3' in depth. They are their you just got to find them, and if you don't succeed go again untill you do find them, and then send me the cords
