Saw this fellow crossing Lake Austin yesterday. He was moving real slow, the water temp was about 56. He was about 5' long had had about 7 rattles. Still I gave him the respect he demands. JR

I hate seeing pictures of snakes but still always click on the threads lol.

cool pic! Uh-uh! I'd have been putting my trolling motor on high and dicing him up! Also, as tree huggin as it sounds it aint cool "dicin somthing up" just cause its there, whatever it may be.
The Gods do not deduct from man's allotted span the hours spent in fishing.

Last time I went over to a huge rattler swimming in a lake he wanted to get in the boat with me. Butz and elbows in the boat for a while there, no pictures.
But cool picture. Definitely give those bad boys a wide berth.
