Fished with Randy Oldfield today. This fish was 12.75 on a boga. 29" long and super skinny. She had to be ancient. She was in very poor health. Had 17 others between the 3 of us with another one that was 8.25. Best five were around 42 to 43 pounds. Before I get roasted for holding her wrong, she was only held like this for a very short period for this picture. We couldn't get another picture that showed just how long she was.

Nice fish, but if you had 45 pounds you would of had 4 fish over 8 pounds and a 12.75.you said you only had 1 at 8 25.like that was the only 8.not doubting you but your numbers don't add up from your post.

Your right, my retard math at it again. It was right around 43. We had a couple more mid 7s and a several 6s.

If the one in the picture were all you caught it would be a great day. Sounds like yall had a blast. Congrats on the catch!
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know when to go fishing.

We all are fisherman you know! ha! Yeah but mine wasn't intentional. No need to stretch a story from a 42 to 43 pound stringer to a 44 to 45 pound stringer.

Awesome fish adam_p At 29" that's world record potential. If that fish was in good health instead of the poor health that you mentioned. We might be looking at another State record. Just saying....

Poor girl's just a horndog... give her a break! Just spawned out. Couple of months from now she'll be pushin' 15, if she's still swimming.
